Sam, you are almost 4 and you don't want to nap in the afternoon. I decided to let you stay up and when we were in the car you looked like you were about to crash. I asked if you were tired and you lazily responded: "no, my brain is recharging". You are too much!!!

Sam, you are obsessed with pirates... Still. It's been over a year now and your love only seems to grow! Your cousins got you pirate PJs, which you love... And when you slept with Uncle Nick here in Malibu you woke him up every few hours to see if you could get up to hunt for treasure. Classic!
